Riverbend Rotary Club Celebrates Annual Changeover Ceremony and Welcomes New Leadership
Introduction:
On June 28, 2023, the Riverbend Rotary Club gathered at Castelli's Moonlight Restaurant for their highly anticipated annual changeover ceremony. The evening was filled with joy, camaraderie, and the passing of the torch as the club bid farewell to the outgoing leadership and welcomed a new team to lead the way. With a wonderful turnout of club members and their significant others, the event was a memorable occasion that marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Riverbend Rotary Club.
A Night of Celebration:
As the evening unfolded, the air buzzed with excitement and anticipation. The venue, Castelli's Moonlight Restaurant, provided an elegant and inviting atmosphere for the event. Members mingled, catching up with old friends and getting to know new faces, while the soft melodies of live music filled the room, setting the perfect tone for the festivities.
Passing the Torch:
One of the highlights of the evening was the official swearing-in ceremony, where the new leadership team took their oath of office. The outgoing leaders were recognized for their dedication and hard work in guiding the club over the past year, and the incoming leaders were welcomed with open arms and high hopes for the year ahead.
President Monica Bristow:
Leading the Riverbend Rotary Club into the new term is two-time President Monica Bristow. Known for her passion for service and unwavering commitment to the community, President Bristow brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the role. Her vision for the club centers around empowering members to make a positive impact through meaningful projects and collaborations.
Vice-President Eric McRoy:
Joining President Bristow in steering the club's activities is Vice-President Eric McRoy. With his strong technological skills and dedication to Rotary's ideals, Vice-President McRoy is poised to support the president and contribute to the club's growth and success. Together, they form a dynamic duo ready to inspire and motivate members towards making a lasting difference in the community.
Recording Secretary Michelle Wittman:
Ensuring efficient communication and record-keeping within the club, Recording Secretary Michelle Wittman steps into her role with a keen eye for detail and organization. Treasurer Jeremy Watters:
